God’s Mighty Power

Greetings from the Cheesecake Factory in the Houston Galleria!

We made our way to the Mall after church at Vineyard Houston today. Still gaining my strength and stamina after last week's surgery, worship and fellowship was a booster shot that filled me with encouragement and renewed hope. If you're like me, I do need some help at times and reaching for God's Word is divine medicine. I know I'm not the only person in the world walking through this difficult valley. So for those of you who are in the valley with me today, here's my prayer for us:

"Never doubt God's mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. (Eph 3:20 TPT)"

He promises. He cannot lie. I stand firmly on His Word.

As for me, I was able to take a Lyft to a hair salon yesterday and have my hair cut in preparation for radiation. Radiation requires a custom mouth stent and mask to keep the "target zone" aligned. Shorter hair will help with the mask. I am quite claustrophobic so if you have a prayer for me, please pray I can tolerate the mask and stent and radiation treatments without fear or panic. Also, I covet your prayers to ask God to help me tolerate the treatments with little to no side effects but that they do what they are intended to do. These treatments are projected to end mid-November. I trust the Lord's hand in all, through all, and with all.

He loves me. He loves you. Astonishing love: deeply intimate, far-reaching, enduring, transcending, and extravagant. That is who He is. That is His mighty love power!
