All Is Well

My healing transformation continues. I've reached the one week post-surgery milestone at a normal pace. It's nice to have half as much pain as I felt mid-week. I'm using half the amount of narcotics to control that pain which is an answer to prayers. So many times in my life I've needed God's supernatural help and He is proving once again that He is here. He is my warrior (Zeph 3:17). All is well.
I'm sleeping much better and for longer periods with less pain. Last night, I only woke up once to take something for pain and then fell back to sleep first having the peaceful thought of Jesus, our Shepherd, carrying a lamb in His arms. So tender and sweet He is and so fierce and powerful He is, too. Who is this Shepherd Warrior? His name is Jesus. He is the Son of God and Son of Man. He knows me. He carries me in His arms. He fights for me. This is Jesus.
He is here. All is well.
